It's A Major Award!




"Pioneer Press took home 15 first place honors in the Illinois Press Association contest, announced Friday."

The Park Ridge Herald-Advocate was voted best fish wrap.

    This has nothing at all to do with Pioneer Press, but it was fun writing it, so here goes:

    Hey kids, what time is it?
    It's Howie Frimark time!

    It's Howie Frimark time,
    It's Howie Frimark time,
    Howie and the council crew,
    Think they know what's good for you.

    They want to spend our cash,
    Without a big backlash,
    Move District 64,
    Right out of their front door.

    To build a station grand,
    For cops in our fair land,
    It seems that it will be,
    Larger than the library.

    If crime is really down,
    In and around our town,
    Then why do we need this,
    Instead of space for books?
