Does anyone know why there would be cars (more than one) with people not "from the hood" parked behind the dry cleaners on Touhy (across from Thorton's)?

No - should I run?

Damn, there goes the neighborhood ….
What’s next, indicted elected officials?!!

It could be because the people in the apartments have visitors.

How long ago did you notice this...weeks, months or as recent as just a couple of days ago and is it reoccurring?

Maybe they're waiting their turn to pump more free gas at Thorntons when some dirt bag uses a screwdriver to jam the pump open again. Last time they were waiting in the Johnnys lot and that's how they got caught. Call 911 and report any suspicious activity, please!

AS we know last week former Maine East History Teacher Paul Carlosn Passed away.

and of course he was well know in the PR community and did various things, including helping launch the Park Ridge Historical Society.

What interesting is while there is some mention of his passing on a few sites but one message board I belong to Topix.com there's nothing on him and even though Maine East honors him on their Wall Of Fame, their website didn't mention anything about his death either.

By "not from the hood" I am assuming you mean they were black -if my assumption is wrong let me apologize in advance.

Can you please tell us if they were doing anything suspicious that one of the posters refered to - I mean besides being black.

I agree with reporting all suspicious activity to the police. I guess I am just curious as to how this might qualify.

It was just three carloads of people sitting in their idling cars behind the dry cleaner on Saturday around 1:00 pm. It looked strange. Just curious that's all.
