So if there are office plazas and expressways then it's o.k. to put up billboards because hey, the area already looks like crap? It's o.k. to add to the ugly? Office plazas are necessary for places to office. Expressways are necessary for cars to travel. What is necessary about billboards? Are you stupid or just ignorant? Anonymous said...: I did not say anywhere in my post that it was OK. I was responding to the post about "no billboards", but you are right. It is completely irrational to point out that there is a difference between the intrusion of a billboard on the beautiful (in fact almost perfect) view posted by PRU verus a view of an office plaza (an old tattered one at that) and an expressway. The first case is like screaming at the top of your lungs in a library. The second one os like screaming during the national anthem at a Blackhawk's game. You are still screaming but it tends to blend in with the rest of the noise. But that is just me - stupid and ignorant!!!!; March 15, 2010 at 10:42 AM
