WOOO HOOO! Way to go, Alderman Schmidt, and PRU, too. Did you ever DOUBT he'd win?!?!?!. Time to print up some of those sunshines and plaster them about town.
What's that smell coming from 505 ?
I know - its the leftover pizza from all those closed sessions.
We like our politics here in town with a little stink to it!
Clean up in aisle back room please.
That stink isn't leftover pizza. It's the stench of rotting political ambition.
Way to go Alderman Schmidt!
Congratulations to Dave Schmidt. We can all be proud of him and thankful that we have at least one or two real representatives.
Schmidt for Mayor!
Schmidt for Mayor!
Schmidt for Mayor!
Recall Ordinance!
Recall Ordinance!
Recall Ordinance!
not for Schmidt, but for the Frimark Five
Sunshine is a disinfectant, and like any kind of light it sure does cause the cockroaches to scatter. Wonder if the Council Chambers be a little less crowded Monday night?
You mean Foamy, I mean Bob Ryan, is going to miss yet another meeting?
Well, it's not like an Oscar...but it sure makes me happy for Ald. Schmidt. And let's face it...Oscars are given to the best pretenders...
Ready for your close-up, Mayor Frimark?
There's an old Billy Joel song called Allentown which was about the steelmills closing and the affect it had on the town.
Perhaps we need to think of a version about all that's going on in PR.
Allen town - sure you are correct.
When the city of Park Ridge is thinking - again ( very dangerous)
to ask the State of Illinois to fix the city's main highways with borrowed funds from the city first - is a train wreck about to happen.
Gov. Blago may any day here be called down to 219 So. Dearborn Street
and we all know what that means....
who's going to see that the state pays us back ?
Can we send a collector to the state local prison where the exgov's go to play checkers ?
Let's face it - if we need the main roads like cumberland and others fixed - we are going to have to pay for it ourselves.
Bringing in the state is great but the only thing here is that they are broke. Remember the CTA midnight oil burning sessions?
Let's face it dealing with the state and Blago's team ( danger dan k.) is like playing poker with a guy with a lampshade on his head.
You never really know who your dealing with here!!!!!!
B.O.H.I.C.A.
Wake up Howie.........
Thank you.
Alderman Schmidt will be delivering his strong response to the mayor's condemnation resolution at the March 17 Council meeting. You should try to catch it.
