For the guys laid off from Public Works every day must feel like labor day.

The rest of us get less services for our tax money too.

I'd like to outsource the idiots on the city council.

According to the H-A, Cook County Board Pres Todd Stroger is coming to Park Ridge on Tuesday, September 29th at 1:30 for a town hall meeting. It will be at the Summit and is limited to the first 100 people to show up.

So how many of those 100 seats will be filled by Todd's toadies?

And why the Summit if all they can handle is 100 people?

Why not the Pickwick Theater?

Whadda ya wanna bet he cancels at the last minute?

How many of those 100 seats will be filled with the ready made audience residents coralled into place by the owner of Summit? This is just that schmuck's way of providing his residents with free entertainment, of the horror show variety. That's why this isn't planned for a bigger place like the Pickwick where who shows up can't be controlled, like at the Summit.

Gypsy...next late night you're scrolling by feel free to yell hello to the open upstairs bedroom windows - we'll yell back. If the kitchen lights are on...knock on the front door. We'd love to see you.

Because it's private property, we can be certain that the only reason Stroger is showing up at Summit Retirement Home is that Marc Dennison is welcoming him there. And you can also be equally sure that Stroger will feed the hand-picked crowd the propaganda they want to hear.

Dennison is making Park Ridge just another Stroger prop. Good job, Marc.

Good Lord!!! Do you honestly believe that a town hall meeting in front of 100 hand picked people is going to sway opinion about Stroger. "Gee those 100 people at Summit seemed to like him so maybe I was wrong". Oh My god!! Dennison (apparently he must run the place) is making Park Ridge a Stroger prop!! Dennison does not represent Park Ridge in any way. Here is an idea. Why not go picket, or when you reach that age refuse to give them your business.

...and visions of a Ms. Josephine Perry danced in his head...

Mr. Dennison once vehemently objected to being called a "carpet bagger."

I've got news for you Marc, being called a "carpet bagger" was a compliment compared to what you appear to be now.

Thanks PRU! With your help, we can reighn in some of brutal capitalism that send our jobs over seas. Kudos!
