Clever comments! With so many astute people in Park Ridge, why didn’t we understand 9R-27L until it was too late?

Anonymous at 5:29, there was a particular alderperson who did understand what was happening with the new runway. She pleaded with the "Then mayor" who chose to ignore her. We have all her documentation warning the city council and the mayor at that time.

I believe alderman Bachtard was the new alderperson assigned to watch over the airport and the ONCC and even he failed to recognize what was coming.

Or maybe the alderman, the mayor and such had a reason to ignore it all.

??????????

Too late? Those of us on the North end of town fully understood 9r-27L. As a matter of fact we poured champagne the day it opened.

Hey everyone upset with the Airport traffic. Bach was the council liaison to the airport (and ONCC?) when they were working on the noise contour and planning the new runway expansion.

Isn't there going to be a new aldermanic election soon? Third ward constituents, find another alderman!

Hahaha.Here's more:

"How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?"
"I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?"

Assuming you mean the H-A reporter, what makes you think that's her?

Perhaps they could get the person who ran against him last time to try again!!!!

MIKE:

I think 7:36 is talking about the airport commission person. Not the newspaper reporter.

I’m not Jennifer Johnson just someone living near Belle Plaine who’s noticed that many in town are lawyers or CPAs. 18.5% of PR residents have graduate degrees compared to 8% in Des Plaines, Mt Prospect and Elk Grove, with 4.5% in Bensenville. (city-data.com) PR has been considered an affluent community however, surrounding communities may perceive us as snobs and isolationists … and now we’re just dumb and financially struggling. We can’t blame Bach; the whole town is at fault.
