A great blast from the past! I haven't heard that song in ages! Love it, thanks PRU! Nice weekend post and cute puppies too!

Great tune.

PRU, will you be writing any informational posts about the District 64 School Board candidates? I am very interested in hearing about them and your take on their candidacies. Thank you in advance for considering my question.

We have been considering it.

We do know the Pub-dog's wrote about the General Caucus and the candidates recently. We may post a referring link to their article next week.

We do suggest that anyone interested in the candidates can click on the Election Season link we posted and use the contact us page on the General Caucus website to ask the officers to publish the bios or applications submitted by each candidate.

I like it better when your weekend pictures are of naked painted ladies. ;0)

awwww, so cute.
so much better than when I sat down to my movie this evening at the Pickwick and see a photo an ad for Mayor Frimark on the screen. It said something like "Independent vote."
I literally gagged on my popcorn.

That’s because Howard is tight with the owner of the Pickwick Theatre. He sells them insurance and give him free publicity. That is why I stopped going to see movies there years ago.

Has anyone seen the number of Dave Schmidt signs popping up all over town? Howard doesn't have any out. Maybe he is going to concede the election!

My wife and I were running around town this weekend and I noticed the same thing! Apparently the signs must have been delivered from the printer and Alderman Dave already had a boat load of people who wanted signs lined up.

If that is an accurate measure of his support in town then it is very impressive - from zero to what I would say is several hundred!

Schmidt had quite the crowd at Zia's on Saturday. Things are looking good for Dave.

Be wary of overconfidence. Frimark and his people aren't going to give up without a bare knuckle brawl because there's a lot of money at stake - developer deals, consultant contracts, land speculation, etc. And in this kind of economy, pay-to-play may be te only game in town.
