We are a little more than 24 hours away from being rid of the disastrous embarrassment that has been Howard Frimark's mayoral administration.

I just might get a good night's sleep on Monday, knowing that he is gone forever!

How did you come to that conclusion?
The brightest bulb in the socket is the bulb in the socket despite its brightness due to the fact that "socket" is singular.
Therefore, a bulb that does not emanate a single photon of light would still be the brightest bulb in the socket.
I happen to be a bulb with the brightness from 10,000 simultaneously fisssioned atoms. You are a bulb with the brightness from a windmill in the doldroms.

You are right, there may be a single socket, but you fail to understand that bulbs get changed -- there were bulbs before you and there will be bulbs after you.
And you're still one of the dimmest bulbs.
