Super Sunday

Now is the time.

We need volunteers to join our district-wide canvassing effort on Sunday, September 19th.

Be a DRIVER and gather a carload of volunteers to help canvass 500 households; or

Be a CAPTAIN and gather ten drivers who will canvass under your supervision; or

Be a VOLUNTEER and we will help you join a driver and a team!

The plan is simple:

On Super Sunday morning, each driver will collect a map and a list of addresses from his or her captain at our volunteer office (8722 W. Dempster, Niles IL 60714).
For the next several hours, each driver will guide a squad of volunteers as they deliver campaign literature and knock on doors.

Our goal is to cover the entire 9th congressional district!

We will end the day with a big party!

Be a part of this crucial and historic canvassing effort!

Register below for Super Sunday

Date: Sunday, September 19, 2010
Where: Campaign Volunteer Office, 8722 W. Dempster, Niles
Time: 10:00 am to finish (approx. 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
Party: 4:00 pm – turn in walk sheets and celebrate!

Thank you!
Ben Dauber

WTF?
I never thought I'd see PRU providing free ad space for a calm-looking, sweet-talking, right-wing religious zealot.

Correction -- comment space.

By request, we shared the email content we received.

And you are familiar with our blog and the comments we post, correct?

Zealots come in many forms. Unless comments and requests rise to the level of libel or bullshit, we usually post them.

I always thought the PRU Crew had secret Republican leanings....

As for the song offerings, how about Heart's "Crazy on You" for a '70s choice for those of us in between the other two (which were from the '60s and the '80s)?

One man's Goldwater Republican is an awful lot like another man's Classic Liberal.

We'll see what we can find for you on YouTube. No promises.
