Better get a viable candidate up and vetted soon, or it will be an unopposed re-election for Bozo.

Would Alderman Wsooool Man be interested in running for Mayor? He has raised his kids in our school system. He has experience on the city council. He has shown to be able to work with "Democrats and Republicans".

Could you imagine a Mayor that is not a salesman or in business for himself?

Anonymous said...

How about Bob Trizna? He has been a volunteer in the community for many years. He is not afraid to shake things up.

WE definitely need some one who can stand up for Park Ridge.

Anonymous said...

Or what about a woman? Carla Owens, Jeannie Markech? They seem to be able to stand up for what they believe in.

Common people, let's generate some ideas and get a people's candidate, not a homeowners puppet.

I enjoy the complaining and criticizing of the current administration as much as the rest, but I feel like we should be using our time for action. Are there any good candidates out there? When is this yahoo mayor up for re-election? He cannot run unopposed!

Park Ridge Underground is something we, the voters and taxpayers of Park Ridge, should be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Anonymous said...

So...insider brought it up.....any interested parties out there?

Let's discus....

Picture yourself in the days of the old political conventions. As the hours pass and the search for a viable candidate wears on and on a small voice begins to chant. Then another joins in. The chanting grows loader and loader until the venue is booming with the name "Friel for Mayor!, Friel for Mayor!, Friel for Mayor!"

An honest, competent and dedicated mayoral candidate shouldn't have to be "drafted" or "recruited." Wasn't the guy who got smoked by the current occupant recruited by several sitting aldermen who have since disappeared from public life altogether after not having the nerve to run for re-election?

Frank Wsol is in the seventh ward. Frank would be a good candidate. I believe another Mayor, Marty Butler came from the seventh ward.

The formal declaration will come later...but I'll let all my friends here know....that I am running for Mayor.

I am running to bring open and transparent government to the people of Park Ridge.

I have a track record to point to that indicates I can make difficult and fair decisions that are in the best interest of the 37,000 resident of this town.

Having lived in this town for a few years, I know what about Park Ridge is great and will convey to the voters why I love this town and have chosen it to raise my own family.

As they say...stay tuned...more details to follow....

We've tried elections and they haven't worked so well for us. maybe we need an exorcism.

OMG Larry Friel as mayor I will have to add anti-anxiety pills to my antidepressents that I have been taking since Anderson was elected.....

Anonymous said...

Under the “lesser of two evils” theory, I envision my voting now.......

Mayor of Park Ridge (Choose one)

Howard P. Frimark

X Beelzebub “Prince of Darkness”

Hey, he can’t be any worse.

Anonymous said...

Wsol is a good family man.

Wsol would make a fine
candidate - but would his
city/demos roots take over.

Don't forget - the bad guy
hiding behind every thoughtful
state money-support plan....our very own state sen.Dan K.

The mayor has already sold his sole
with the devil...state funds for this...state funds for that....

Where would Wsol get the funding....
any suggestions here...sen Dan ??
or Gov. Blago !!!

Same as Parker....could he rightfully disclose who and when he accepted funds ?

Then there Rosemary....she really is a peach !Helping herself to the veterans money so the old folks and the pipe smokers can sit and listen to the music in the park - to the tune of $ 20,000.00.

$ 40,000.00 for an ice skating rink in Springfield ?

$ 500,000.00 for a foot/jogging path in Romeoville ?

Keep in mind these funds have not been thrown out the train window as the Metra drive's by your town.

Anonymous said...

How about Bob Krisite. He seems to know everyone in town.

ParkRidgeUnderground said...

In mufti who would give that guy the time of day?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous 12:12 - Hard to follow your stream of consciousness. Let's see:

Sen. Dan Kotowski is "the bad guy" behind state spending? That's a stretch. Same goes for Mayor Howard selling his "sole" (sic, or filet of?) for "state funds" - what "state funds"?

Wsol will get funding for his mayoral campaign from Blago when monkeys fly out of your kazoo. And what does Rex Parker have to do with anything?

You've gotta stop at a fifth of Jack Daniels.

Anonymous said...

Dave....its time to get out and meet people.

Sen. K. is...behind most of the funds collected here...just ask Mayor HF.

Sen. K. also funded once a fmr ald.
and will support anyone who supports his ( Dems ) agenda ..here.

Then there's friel....the back slapper.

This nect election cycle should be a good one.

As Rush says...." That's my boy !

I think you're nose is so far up the middle...that you have lost site
of the field sir!

Being able to read the tea leaves...does seem to help here.

What were you smoking in college !
or was it pizza and porn !!

ParkRidgeUnderground said...

We'll take pizza and porn for $100, Alex!

Anonymous 12:12/9:23:

Hitting the Jack Danny again, I see.

Rather than relying on Mayor Howard for proof that Sen. Dan is "behind most of the funds collected here" (whatever that means), why don't you get yourself a Magic 8 Ball and improve your chances of getting honest information?

And can you please explain what the "(Dems) agenda...here" in Park Ridge is? Is it more welfare for all of our African Americans residents? Amnesty for all of our illegal aliens? Or are those gutless Dems trying to pull our troops out of Des Plaines?

Anonymous said...

Yikes! I can't make sense of some of these ramblings. Too much cranberry wine for the posters? Or not enough for those of us reading? I welcome some sanity from the PRU crew come Monday!

Anonymous said...

Why don't they all go to a different corner and call a truce.

Let the city council speak Monday eve.

Maybe they - really can make sense of it all.........

Anonymous said...

Ok.......who was that naked lady
from PK caught many years ago with a bar buddy all naked while driving DUI?

Does a Blk/Blk lincoln ring a bell?

Anonymous said...

Off Topic?
Sorry if it is, but how 'bout a final body count regarding the "Anonymous Letter" purges.
Everyone knows you can get it.
The paper said that the whole thing is over now.

There are backs left unstabbed and heads left unrolled. It isn't over and you know it.

anonymous at 6:23...what?

Anonymous said...

I read my Hearld-Advocate and let's just say it wasn't doing the job as far as informing me (the public). Needless to say I find myself still perplexed. As a student learning government in college courses and discussing it with my professors (out of state might I add) this whole development on Washington seems like "shady business" if you ask me or legality. Zoning laws exist for a reason. Who's to say Senior citizens want to live in this Frimark fabricated fiasco? I hope something can be done...

I agree with anonymous from November 21 - Jeannie Markech should run for mayor. She is an independent thinker, but more importantly, she is an ethical person. We need someone with character to stand up for what is right.
