One of Wsol's favorite cliches is to say "Figures never lie, but liars often figure"
Too true, Francis, too true.
I was taught that....Figures don't lies, and liars don't figure.....being remotely likened to Wsol even cliche-wise makes me want to go shower away the grime.

Off subject - For a very short time I attended Stroger fest at the Summit. Not well attended by the public, mostly residents of the Summit, lots of empty chairs. He probably knew he had a captive audience. If he was really interested in what the local public thinks the event would have been scheduled at a time when working folks could attend. Oh well, I don't think anyone's ever accused him of being particularly bright.
Anon@2:42 --
Working folks aren't the folks Stroger is concerned about.
You said it PRU, if you can't reach the goal, move the goal posts. These guys are unbelievable.
Watching that meeting was enough to make one's head spin. Wow. It is truly never ending over at 505.
And Hock and Lambesis ought to turn in all of their previously awarded budget awards they claim to have "won". For the two of them to "move the goal posts" as you refer to it is ridiculous. I think Lambesis actually said: if you don't make the goal you can always change the goal.
Diane, Diane, Diane... it's called a budget variance and you need to know how to measure it, explain it and avoid it in the future. You don't just change the goal/budget and say you made it.
Geez. And Bach... you gotta give up.
PRU @ 2:44 from Anon @2:42 -
Silly me, working folks are just taxpayers. Of course Stroger doesn't give a rat's patootie about them. He's too busy hiring busboys @ $60,000/year to do goodness only knows what. And his relatives too. Ah, patronage! Stroger is a total putz!
To U @11:40 --
NFW. You were warned. Now go dig yourself out using a vehicle provided by somebody else.
