Congrats to PRU on a great week!
We got a new City Manager that the mayor doesn't like, and the papers are blaming "the blogs" for not getting the mayor's first choice of a city manager (one he could control). While I think that the mayor is just being a crybaby, if it really IS the case, that is awesome.
You are doing a great job in keeping it real. Thank you for giving us a voice!!!

The PRU missed what I think is very important and telling part of Frimark’s comments at the meeting. He not only blamed the “ugly blogs”, he also said that the press reports on the animosities among elected officials, as if to be blaming the press too for reporting anything negative about city government! Does Frimark think the press shouldn’t report on things as they are if they are negative? That is amazing! It sounds like Frimark thinks the press should be a public relations firm for our town with only positive happy things in their newspapers! I think the newspapers are already full of plenty of that already. I read Frimark’s comments and it felt like he is trying to give us all laughing gas or something! I thought it was amazing. I couldn’t believe I was reading it. I thought the blogs would say more about that.
sounds like Frimark actually BELIEVES what he sells.
