Ald. Allegretti was absent.
City Manager explained the following:
TIF: What is it?
· Tax increment financing is a financing tool used to pay for public investment and infrastructure needed to simulate economic growth.
We guess it's better late than never for City Manager Tim Schuenke to tell the truth!

Wonder if Schuenke is leaving before it becomes clearer to us ordinary citizens who have been kept in the dark on this stuff that "simulate" isn't a typo?
I read that Allegretti wasn't at the budget meeting and I see he wasn't at this meeting neither.
When he does show up to meetings I don't feel represented. When he doesn't show up to meetings I don't feel represented.
Ah yes, the joys of one alderman per ward, or in many cases no alderman per ward.
Maybe the job is just not stimulating with Howie simulating both leadership and ethics.
Don't tell me "No-Show Jim" is at it again....
It is so much more “efficient” when all you have to do is what Howard commands you to do instead of actually thinking for yourself.
Hey Alderman in the pursuit of your legal career I’m sure you ran across the term "Nuremberg Defense". It was originally coined during the Nazi war crimes trials at Nuremberg after World War II. Nazi war criminals that were charged with genocide, mass murder, torture and other atrocities used the defense "I was only following orders”.
Allegretti is completely useless. He's supposed to be representing the community in the 4th. He doesn't return phone calls or emails.
What a waste. He should resign and let someone effective take that post. I realize he is a PUPPET, but he needs to get out. NOW.
so Allegretti does not go meetings, Ryan does not listen to his constituents, Carey does not understand whats going on (but will vote however he is told by Frimark and Allegretti) and Bach rewards a businessman who is not forthcoming with answering questions with $2.4 million taxpayer dollars (but not Bach's future car business).
