Last November, we told you about an article in one of the local rags that discussed 3rd Ward Alderman DreadBach wanting to revisit the idea of Red Light cameras; our post was titled Say Cheeeeeeeeeese!
One of the PRU Crew's favorite blog spots, BurbCopsChicago, has posted about this issue. It may be worth your time to read what our police officers have to say about it.
Please remember people, it's a blog for coppers. We haven't asked and we don't think they would mind much, but if you aren't a cop consider that it's their party before you jump into the comment pool.

Didn't know a blog like BCC existed. Kind of interesting, somewhat disturbing. Don't know if it raises or lowers my respect and opinion about cops. But I do agree with them that red light cameras sure seem to be about the money, not about safety.
After having read the BCC site a few times, I now take what they have to say and assume the opposite is the truth.
