Lets all remember this Sunday
when we attend the church of
our choice - Det. Gene Gargano
who served the people of cook
county for over 25 years + as a
Sheriff's detective. Gene passed away
from cancer which he fought a great fight.
Gene had gained the respect from all
levels of law enforcement during his career.
Gene will be waked at Algrim's
located in Schaumburg on Golf Road
tomorrow June 11th starting at 3pm to 9pm.

Det. Gargano surely would have said that he was just doing his job when he arrested a violent murderer 30 years ago. That actually may be the case, but because Det. Gargano just did his job, or maybe because he did his job very well, he gave many people who he never met a measure of closure to a senseless tragedy.
