ComEd gives us that 'Saturday Night Fever'! We loved the strobe light effect produced when the lights repeatedly went on and off -- made us feel like dancing!
Once again, the thunderstorm season is upon us. We can all look forward to more of the "light shows" provided by the on-again, off-again power supply provided by ComEd. And the 'Jive Talkin' on the part of ComEd and our elected officials makes us want to put on our 'Boogie Shoes'!
Remember the Ten ComEdments, and say a prayer that Mother Nature takes pity on us poor power customers this summer.

Yes. The power was out from 10:30 on Sunday night until 8:00 AM on Monday and, just like last year, the houses across the street had power. I stayed up past 3:00 AM making sure the generator stayed on to keep the sump pump going.
But the worse part was the next afternoon when the power went off and on at least five times. We kept everything in the house unplugged all day to prevent any surge damage.
I guess that town hall meeting last year with Com Ed really paid off.
Maybe the City can hold another town hall meeting, and Com Ed can offer to do another study...
The fun never ends!
I know....lets hold another parade and this time.....the mayor can walk the route and then he can speak with all of the disgruntled voters.
Why not.........
So, the homeless will be stuck in the PADS basement with no power...or will PADS be providing generators, too?
