Speaking of art, it's been a couple of weeks since it was reported about the old Mural that Paul Carlson removed from the old Post Office 38 years ago and was finally being returned to the public and they plan to hang it up in the library.
1 thing that was never answered is why Mr. Carlson didn't give it to anyone such as the Library or City Hall back then or wait so long to finally render it to the public?
I don't recall ever mentioning about the old mural till now though I did mention Mr. Carlson himself when he died.
And if someone mentions something, such as this, then obviously it's interesting to that person and i'm sure there are others out there who feel the same way.
We also think the question you raised is interesting. None of the crew had even thought about it until you raised the question here, and in another forum -- which is where we are assuming Anon@9:51 also saw it.
Returning to the core topic: Were these sheep at a Yes! concert in Ithaca, NY in 1972? I think I remember them, although it might have been the Dead concert at Watkins Glen.
from Watkins Glen to Alpine Valley to Hodge's Park ......... What was happening at Hodges Park Saturday morning? Fr Carl was seen speaking to a sparse group. What's up, another protest or a 70's sit-in?
I don't know about anything at Hodges Park and fr. Morello today, but I now have a whole new understanding of what a Dead Head is, and they wear white shirts to public meetings.
Town Hall Meeting? Anyone? It WAS on Saturday, announced on the City's website late Friday. How nice. If you hold a meeting, it is nice to promote it a little ahead of time. Same old, same old.
I wonder how solid the Houlihan's deal is. Based on the economy and what is happening in the entertainment sector, I would bet they are looking very hard for a way out.

Pru, nice picture. Electric sheep are sure much better than the stupid PADS sheep we have here in town.
I always find the weekend videos and pictures interesting. I really like this one. Thanks PRU.

Mike:
I am new in town and did not know Mr. Carlson and never say the mural in question.
You have mentioned this before and made me curious. Why is this so important to you?

Do I need to give any further explanation?

Mike:
My question was not intended to be mean spirited or scarcastic in any way.
I have lived here for less then 5 years. I was just curious about the significance of your question.

Houlihan's is still a shell. Enjoy Noodles for a few more months.

Anybody know whether there's any truth to the rumor that a number of condo buyers over there are defaulting on their contracts?
